No news is typically good news, but not really in the writing world. There’s a new novel idea in my head that’s starting to take shape, so maybe this will be the one. It feels pretty strong. Can’t wait to really get to know BOB. Listening to Disturbed. Five words: “Ooh wah ah ah ah”!

Updated the site, blog, and Facebook page with pictures from a photo shoot in Groton and Niantic. We’ve gone the scenic, colorful route. Hard to make this face look good, but hey, it’s what I got.

Started a new devotional blog called “The Road to Damascus.” Check it out here: .

I also relocated Bittersweet Trail to WordPress at and posted a new blog entry on that one.

In other random news, this summer I’m working on editing the book I wrote last summer. As soon as it is finished, I’ll be posting a page about it right here on this site. It’s called All We Know of Heaven and is Christian YA.

I’m on a short fiction kick right now, and I hope to get something published pretty much anywhere before the summer. I have several options in mind for a summer novel. I think I might try an adult book this time, as the adult short fiction I’m writing feels pretty good. Off to submit to lit magazines!

It’s my wife’s birthday today. Happy birthday, sweetie. I’m working on a Facebook page right now, which you can already like now by clicking on the “like” button on the home page. Once I’ve got it all set, I’ll be rolling out the website and Facebook page more publicly. So exciting.

Welcome to the all new website. I’m hard at work revising my latest project All We Know of Heaven, a Christian YA novel. There are currently a few close friends reading through the manuscript to give me feedback, and I’ve already got a lot to work with. For now the plan is to edit it throughout the school year and begin work on my next project next summer. I think there’s a trilogy brewing. Maybe a series. As for now, I’m querying like crazy on Scout’s Honor. Wish me luck!
